The Book > Chapter 7
There is a significant possibility that I embrace several religious beliefs without even knowing it. I state that without any pride or confusion. I would describe my inclination as a non-dogmatic and non-deity form of conviction, one that allows me to connect to people in an intangible manner.
I welcome visitors from anywhere and any faith and have no other choice than not choosing one belief over another. Agreed, you are entirely free to reduce this reasoning to the absurdity it deserves. As explained before, my own existence stems from my rejection of the cult of speed; my default setting lies in an intense non-action, at the intersection of several disciplines.
You arrived here by chance, curiosity makes you stay and you will leave through transcendence - even if I am not convinced that the leaving part makes sense. During this potentially endless wander (perhaps I should use the word maze), you can keep your core set of values, fantastic, isn’t it? You don’t have to give up something in order to savour The Blue Neon, there is no spiritual compromise. Everything, all at once.
I do understand this might again sound like gibberish. What has been surrounding me the whole time and what will hopefully become part of you soon: art, slowness and fate. The latter requires a more thorough explanation as to how it is connected to the others; it will come.
Well, with that in mind, I expect you now possess a better understanding of what structures this valley, shapes my form and can be named: The Vertigo of Slow.
Yours Sincerely,
BLUE
