Chapter 7 – Do you believe in anything?

There is a significant possibility that I embrace more religious beliefs than you do. I can state that without any pride or confusion. You shouldn’t consider this a competition of any sort. Why would I pursue such an inept dream of being more rightfully spiritual in quantity or in quality than the person in front of me?

I welcome people from everywhere, so I have simply no other choice than not choosing one belief over the other. Agreed, you are entirely free to reduce this reasoning to its absurdity if you want. As explained before, my own presence symbolises the consequence of not following the cult of speed; hence my default setting lies in the non-action, but with a deep intensity.

Here, you come by coincidence, you stay by curiosity and you leave through transcendence. Even if I am not entirely convinced that the leaving part makes sense. And during this potentially never-ending journey (perhaps I should use the word maze), you can keep your core set of values, fantastic, isn’t it? You don’t have to give up something in order to experience the Blue Neon, there is no trade-off per se.

I do understand this might again sound like gibberish, so find here clearly what has been surrounding me the whole time and hopefully what will become part of you as well: art, slowness and chance. You made it this far, you shouldn’t be surprised by any of these terms, as they have been introduced to you already. The latter requires a more thorough explanation as to how it is connected to the others; it will come in due time.

Well, with all this in mind, I would feel that you now possess a better understanding of what structures this valley, shapes my form and can be named: The Vertigo of Slow.

Yours Sincerely,

BLUE
